| Kincardine approves Draft Plan of Sub-Division & Zoning By-Law for 4.1 Hectare Property 07/11/2023 The Muncipality of Kincardine has approved a draft-plan of subdivision and zoning by-law amendment for a residential development adjacent to Inverhuron Provincial Park. The proposed sub-division would see the 4.1 hectare property developed into 12 residential lots, with up-to 81 units, in a combination of single-detached, semi’s and mixed used development.... | Bruce Peninsula No Longer A Restricted Fire Zone 07/11/2023 The Bruce Peninsula is no longer considered to be in a restricted fire zone. The Provincial Order issued June 9th, 2023, designating South Bruce Peninsula, and Northern Bruce Peninsula as part of a Restricted Fire Zone has been revoked by the minister. | SBGHC close area Emergency Departments due to Insufficient Staffing 07/11/2023 The South Bruce Grey Health Centre has announced more widespread closures of Hospitals in the area due to insufficient staffing. The Chesley Emergency Department closed last night at 5pm and won’t reopen until Thursday at 7 am. As well, the Durham ER will close overnight between 5pm and 7am from this Wednesday until Monday, July 17th.
