Kincardine Good Food Boxes being donated to local schools for Breakfast & Snack Programs

The Kincardine Good Food Box Program will be supplying a free box of produce to each of the local school’s breakfast & snack programs starting September 28th. Kincardine Township-Tiverton, Huron Heights, Elgin Market and St. Anythony’s will each have the parts of the box that kids will enjoy, with no potatoes and onions, while the Ripley Huron Community School plans to do some cooking with the bits that aren’t suitable for the snack program....

First-Ever Afro Caribbean Culture And Youth Recognition Awards Night Approaches, Nominee Deadline Sept. 22

Kincardine’s first-ever Afro Caribbean Culture and Youth Recognition Awards event is getting closer, and they’re looking for community support. Deputy Mayor Andrea Clarke says that they’ve had generous sponsors come forward to help support the event, and they’re always hoping that more community organizations will also step up....

Grey Bruce Labour Council issue Statement condemning protests across Canada

The Grey Bruce Labour Council has released a statement recently through Bruce Vice President Dave Trumble on the Million March 4 Children that occurred yesterday. The Council says that just like in the past of movements like the Freedom Convoy, Buck a Beer, and such the notion of Parental Rights is being used in the same way with hate and intolerance on the agenda hidden behind the jingles. They add that this agenda is responsible for anywhere between 40 and 70 percent of homeless youth....
