| Huron Perth Public Health confirms first case of Flu in Region 10/19/2023 Huron Perth Public Health has received confirmation of the first case of flu in a resident. The resident was under the age of 5 and the results mean the flu is circulation in Huron Perth. Dr. Mirriam Klassen, Medical Officer of Health for Huron Perth says the flu can be a serious illness that can lead to hospitalization, especially among younger children and older adults.
