| Ontario expands list of ailments able to be treated at Local Pharmacies 10/02/2023 The Provincial Government has expanded the list of ailments and medications that pharmacists are able to treat and prescribe for in Ontario. The 6 added over the weekend are being added to the 13 common ailments they have been able been prescribing for since January 1st of this year. Starting October 1st people are able to visit a local pharmacy to receive prescriptions for acne, cancer sores, diaper rash, yeast infections, parasitic worms, and nausea and vomiting in pregnancy.... | St. Thomas Grower Wins Saturday Weigh-Off At Pumpkinfest 10/02/2023 John Butler was the winner of Saturday’s weigh-off at Pumpkinfest in Port Elgin. The grower from St. Thomas entered a pumpkin that weighed 1596.5 lbs on the scale, about 86 lbs clear of the closest competitor. | Chi-Cheemaun Prepares For Fall Repositioning Cruise, Plans For 50th Anniversary Season 10/02/2023 After a busy season that saw passenger volumes significantly increase, Owen Sound Transportation Company is preparing for the Fall repositioning cruise for the Chi-Cheemaun. The last full day of service for the ferry is scheduled for October 15th, with the repositioning cruise to the Owen Sound Harbour set for Monday the 16th.
