| Unemployment Rises Slightly Locally 12/04/2023 The unemployment rate across the region saw a slight rise last month. The Four County Labour Market Planning Board in its monthly number crunch says the Stratford-Bruce Peninsula Economic Region hit a 3.7 per cent unemployment rate in November with the biggest drop seen in construction and manufacturing sectors.
