| Kincardine Closes Piers Until March 2024 Due To Safety Concerns 12/18/2023 The Municipality of Kincardine has elected to close the north and south piers until March 1, 2024. The choice was made after considering the wave activity on Lake Huron, and Mayor Kenneth Craig says that it’s at its highest in the coming months. The recently formed Pier Safety Ad-Hoc Committee has met twice since it was formed, and upon reviewing existing data will come up with a practical approach for the future use of the piers....
