Huron-Kinloss CAO Retires After Nearing 34 Years

After 34 years of working in municipal administration, Huron-Kinloss CAO Mary Rose Walden has hung up her hat. Walden began her work as the clerk and treasurer for the township in May of 1990 and when the Village of Ripley was amalgamated with Huron Township and Walden was named the administrator-treasurer. She held the role and four years later Huron and Kinloss Townships amalgamated with the Village of Lucknow to form Huron-Kinloss Township with Walden then named the CAO....

Over $100,000 Lost in Scams in Southern Bruce County Since January

Southern Bruce County residents are still being hit by fraud with over $100,000 being lost this year by locals.Between January 1st-March 20th, residents have lost $162,150 to cons and scams with a series of scams being reported to South Bruce OPP over the last week including $13,250 being lost from an online investment scam and another $4000 sent to a scammer to a grandparent scam....
