| Kincardine Council hears results of recent Food Cycler Waste Diversion Pilot Project 10/27/2023 The Municipality of Kincardine received a report on the results from the recent FoodCycler On-Site Organics Diversion Program run from May to August of this year. It saw a total of 210 households purchase subsidized FoodCyclers through support from the Municipality, the Municipal Innovation Council and Bruce Power. In terms of results users went from throwing just over half of their food waste in the garbage, and outdoor compost bins to residents reporting nearly half the number of standard garbage bags out per week, a reduction of nearly 26 bags per household per year to local landfills.... | Bruce County & Arran Elderslie hosting Grand Opening of Paisley Bridge Nov. 3rd at 2pm 10/27/2023 Bruce County and the Municipality of Arran-Elderslie are set to hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony next Friday, November 3rd for the grand opening of the new Paisley Bridge. A short ceremony will take place at 2pm at the north side of the bridge, followed by a procession across the structure. The bridge will then official open to traffic and pedestrians shortly thereafter. Following the event, a celebration will take place at the Paisley Legion....
