| Kincardine to confirm Safety Elements at Station Beach Piers & Assessments on Other Improvements 10/13/2023 The Municipality of Kincardine has approved a motion ... to confirm various elements of water safety at Station Beach. The recommendations...include a no swimming zone 100 m south of the South Pier and 100m north of the North Pier with related signage. A recommended swimming area was also indicated and was to be marked by signs, beach flags and buoy markets. Rip Current Safety signage was also recommended in the area.... | Wildflower Gardens Proposed For Saugeen Shores Town Properties 10/13/2023 A wildflower pilot program will be considered in Saugeen Shores’ 2024 budget. Residents, Nancie Darlington Smith and Rob Shave of Green Works, with the support of councillor Bud Halpin, have proposed planting some wildflower gardens on Town property, which they say will create habitats, food for animals and insects, prevent erosion, store carbon and help pollinators, among other things.... | Livery Theatre in Goderich to launch new production “Home” next week 10/13/2023 The Livery Theatre is set to see the launch of the play Home next week in Goderich. The production is the first of four this season. The performances start with a Pay What you Can Performance next Wednesday, October 18th at 8pm. [and continues...] Thursday, October 19th through Sunday, October 22nd and then the following week from October 26th to October 29th, 2023.
